Things are not going the way of the New York Mets right now.
Not only did the team suffer a debilitating collapse at the hands of the Atlanta Braves on Thursday night, come Friday evening word came down that first baseman Pete Alonso will miss three-to-four weeks with a bone bruise and sprain.
The Mets recalled Luis Guillorme to replace Alonso on the roster.
It goes without saying that losing Alonso is a HUGE hit to the Mets. He was on pace to challenge Aaron Judge’s mark of 62 home runs from last year, after blasting 22 bombs to start this season. His 49 RBI also led the team.
The Mets need everyone else to step up big time if they are to hold the fort until Alonso comes back sometime in July.
They got some help offensively last night when Brandon Nimmo hit a grand slam and Francisco Alvarez hit a pair of homers. But can the Mets get those same contributions consistently enough?
The injury also means Alonso, along with Judge — who is out for the Yankees with a toe injury he suffered last week in Los Angeles, will miss the Subway Series on Tuesday.
The Mets open a series in Pittsburgh on Friday night.
Ranking The Most Unique Ford Bronco Color Options
After a 25-year hiatus, Ford Bronco released its sixth generation model in 2021. With six different trim levels, these models hit the market in two- and four-door variations. Here, we are ranking the most interesting Ford Bronco colors.
The new Bronco body type has characteristics of the old traditional styles from the ’60s and ’70s. The vibrant color options allow this SUV to truly stand out on the road. It’s a direct competitor of the legendary Jeep Wrangler.
Ford’s color options are a mix of traditional Bronco colors and new flashy looks unavailable in a Wrangler. Furthermore, these colors can accommodate either a hard or soft top.
The Bronco Sport, the smaller model, is also available in the same colors as the larger, more rugged Big Bend, Outerbanks, or Badlands model. Now, the limited edition Sport Heritage model offers a few exclusive colors.
Current Color Options
For 2023, there are 11 color options listed for a new Bronco. With the Sport Heritage Limited in the mix, there are 14 Bronco colors to pick from.
Methodology
Narrowing down to the four best was no simple task. However, when isolating four that are considered unique in color, that immediately illuminated the standards. Shadow Black, Carbon Gray, Oxford White, and Silver were the first to be crossed off. Then, we considered colors that make you say “wow” when driving by. The final list ranks only the Ford Bronco colors we consider to be unique. This does not necessarily mean it is an exclusive Ford color. It’s simply the five that give the sixth edition Bronco the most character.
With summer around the corner, there’s a good chance you will see a few of these Broncos cruising around with the top down.
