New Jersey: Here Is Our Most Popular Netflix Show
If this time of year provides you with a few additional post-holiday (Netflix &) chill hours, then you may be interested in Netflix’s most popular shows of the year. The Daily Mail recently featured the most popular Netflix show streamed in each state. It turns out that New Jersey agreed with 7 other states in our show of choice.
The Daily Mail broke down a visual map by Stats Panda that laid out each state’s favorite show. This was generated by analyzing detailed Google Trends. Looking at this graphic, The Diplomat immediately jumps out at you, especially across the north as the popular Netflix show. This drama series was the most popular, with 18 states streaming The Diplomat the most. However, New Jersey marches to its own beat.
Kaleidoscope Is New Jersey’s Most Streamed Netflix Show
Kaleidoscope first premiered in January. It is a thriller series that stars Giancarlo Esposito, Rufus Sewell, and Paz Vega.
“A master thief and his crew attempt an epic and elaborate heist worth $7 billion dollars — but betrayal, greed and other threats undermine their plans,” Netflix explains, for those who are unfamiliar or looking for a new show.
Other popular series included The Night Agent, and Beef. All of these programs also debuted in 2023. The love for Kaleidoscope was equally spread throughout the country. In fact, every region across the country aside from the Midwest, had at least one state where this was the show of choice.
Equally as fascinating are the Netflix shows that made a single appearance on this list. For example, Rhode Island was the only state that loved 1899 the most. It appears Utah residents were highly intrigued by more a gossip style entertainment. Harry & Meghan was the most streamed show there.
Lastly, NFL football always takes center stage across America. Netflix certainly knows how to lean into this. Their collaboration with Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions created one of the most buzzed about series of the year in Quarterback. However, this was only the most popular Netflix show in North Dakota and Nebraska this year.
