Fantasy Football League: Hello Darkness My Old Friend
Well, I would say we saw this coming, but I really didn’t. Week 5 of my fantasy football league ended in a devastating loss by one single point. Are you kidding! Though let’s get down to the bottom line, my team had a knock out effort, it’s not their fault. So whose fault is it?
The Cowboys… Them getting crushed more specifically their offense as I had CeeDee Lamb and Brandon Aubrey as my starters and it was not pretty. But they aren’t to blame, I want to confidently say it was a mix of a strong SF defense and a very bad Dak. The only other player that did just okay was Brain Robinson who had an underwhelming performance.
The good news is the rest of my team crushed it! Despite Coooper Kupp’s return from IR, Puka put up twenty points! Showing he is still a must start player for now. Devone Achane, went hard getting a 76 yard TD even Daren Waller, woke up putting up sixteen points despite the big loss. I wasn’t happy with Mahomes performance, but it was on par with what he’s been doing. and I made a quick choice to play Marquise Brown and even he played his part.
All in all it was a great week for my team, but it was the choice of trust Dallas offense that really hurt me. I know this was a tough matchup for them, I just need some faith after this shocking bust. For week six, despite Wallers amazing performance they go against the Bills. Should I keep him?
Let me know what lineup changes I should make ahead of this week!
