Fantasy Football League: We Got One!
After three weeks of left and rights we were able to secure our first win! Mom get the camera cause I doubt we’re gonna be able to do that again. It was a close call and due to a lot of penalties on the Seahawks I was able to win 116.8 – 106.7. It was scary seeing Kenneth Walker III, put up so many points. Even scoring a touch down early on. Though some of his biggest plays were reversed due to aforementioned penalties.
Now, let’s take a look at what players came in clutch for our very first win. Of course we have to start it off with De’von Achane, While he didn’t replicate his insane 50 point week. He carried some of the magic over putting up two touchdowns and eight carries for 100 yards. A total of twenty seven points! And of course the rookie making records. Puka Nacua thirty one points! Even with Kupp potentially returning. He is too good not to keep, with a game winning touchdown he boosted me for sure.
Meanwhile on the lower side, unfortunately Luke Musgrave suffered an injury, I hope he’s okay, but I had to replace him with Jonnu Smite as the TE situation is always changing and I can’t expect much from Darren Waller or the Giants. If Musgrave is cleared I may even follow some advice and drop Waller. An unexpected downside was the Chiefs and my main star Patrick Mahomes. His lowest game of the season with two interceptions! Really disappointed, but I think this was a hiccup and won’t be repeated in week five.
For our final segment lets talk about week five players that I think will put up massive points. I have Achane going against Giants, with the way both teams have been playing, I’m hoping for another big game. Mahomes despite the underwhelming performance is going against a struggling Vikings. It may be his best week this season. I’m streaming my defense this week by picking up the Lions against rookie QB Bryce Young. I actually expect Tank Dell to bounce back as well. He has good snap percentage and despite the week 4 disappointment, should have plenty of end zone chances. Lastly I think CeeDee Lamb will have a big week as it’s a tough matchup, cowboys will want to target their experienced players.
