Wells followed that up in the fifth inning with a two-run bomb to give the Patriots a 6-1 lead. The homer was the fourth straight game the Patriots homered in.

Everson Pereira delivered a solo shot of his own in the third inning.

The game also marked the seventh straight game in which the Patriots hit at least one home runs, and the third straight game where they hit multiple home runs in the same contest.
