Who’s Worth Rooting for: St. Peter’s or Seton Hall
Alright Rutgers fans I know it’s still a hard pill to swallow losing in double overtime to Notre Dame. Especially when the Scarlet Knights played great this season, breaking records and going on runs no one could predict. This seemed like the year Rutgers would make some noise in the big tournament. There are still two teams in the tournament from New Jersey worth rooting for, St Peter’s and Seton Hall.
Let’s start with Seton Hall who is the eighth seed in the south region and plays TCU. They have a chance to beat a tough TCU team. The dilemma with rooting for Seton Hall is that they are the rivals of the Scarlet Knights. So rooting for them might not be something Scarlet Knight fans would do.
St. Peter’s another New Jersey team has already made noise in the tournament and probably has the best win of the tournament so far. They beat Kentucky as a 15 seed. It is their first win in program history in the big tournament and the first win for the MAAC since 2009. This might be the team everyone roots for because people love underdogs. They have another chance to shock the world with their matchup against Murry State.

A day full of upsets St Peter’s was the one that stole the show. If you are into underdogs and want to see a team shock the world again St. Peter’s will be the team to root for.
