Twitter Reacts: New York Giants Lose Saquon Barkley And Daniel Jones To Injuries In Loss To Cowboys
The New York Giants are suffering from a 44-20 loss against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday (October 10). Week 5 was a nightmare for the team and fans of Big Blue everywhere.
Giants’ running back, Saquon Barkley, injured his left ankle during the first quarter and was ruled out of the game. It has been reported that his ankle is not broken, however, he is believed to have suffered a low-ankle sprain.
Quarterback Daniel Jones suffered a concussion on the field in the second quarter and did not return to the game. This was in result to a hard hit from Dallas Cowboys’ linebacker Jabril Cox.
Kenny Golladay, Rodarius Williams, and Kadarius Toney also faced injuries during the game Sunday evening in Dallas. The New York Giants will play the Los Angeles Rams at MetLife Stadium October 17 at 1pm.
Daniel Jones puts his neck on the line week in and week out. I hope that his teammates feel that and play their hearts out for him. Time to step up.

Brutal game. This is Daniel Jones a few moments ago after a huge collision at the goal line pic.twitter.com/lBWXrT4eOs

I’m not a doctor and I don’t play one on social but I’d be surprised if Saquon Barkley is on the field again before November. The swelling looked pretty bad yesterday #NYG #TogetherBlue

Daniel Jones has earned my respect as a one of those tough football players who puts it all on the line.

Giants took a slower approach with Saquon Barkley as he was coming back from a torn ACL, meniscus and a strained MCL.

And if they learned anything from 2019, they should do the same with Barkley's second ankle sprain of his career. It took him months to get right. #TogetherBlue
That's scary for Daniel Jones. Hate seeing it coming from such an exciting, gutsy play. On both sides.

Giants fans really woke up to blame yesterday’s loss in injury as if they were just lighting up the league in weeks one through four 😂

And since we're always pointing out bad sportsmanship...good sportsmanship by the Cowboys' Jayron Kearse, who saw a woozy Daniel Jones stumbling about and hustled over to help in case he fell down.

The @Giants need to go to church. #JoeJudge also needs to stop with the excessive sprints, like former players have pointed out this is wearing out the players and causing pointless injuries.
