Rutgers Scarlet-White Game Set for April 27

Mark your calendar’s Rutgers nation, the Scarlet-White Spring game is set to take place, Saturday, April 27.
The annual scrimmage will culminate 15 spring practices, and give fans a chance to see the reigning Bad Boy Mower Pinstripe Bowl champions in action.
Game tickets and parking are FREE for this event.
Per a Rutgers press release: “The event coincides with Rutgers Day, one of the busiest days of the year on campus. With free performances, exhibits, hands-on activities, and demonstrations, Rutgers Day will engage and inform about the valuable contributions the University makes to the people of New Jersey and beyond.”
Last season Rutgers enjoyed its best season since 2014, posting a 6-6 record during the regular season and outlasting Miami (FL) 31-24 in the Pinstripe Bowl. The victory was Rutgers’ first-ever win against the University of Miami of Florida program.
Last spring, Scarlet beat the White team 20-13. The Spring game is a great opportunity for fans to see a free football game, mingle with alumni, and get autographs from former players. Which players who will be available for autographs are TBA.
Rutgers Captures Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium
Rutgers defeated the University of Miami (FL) 31-24 in the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium.
Kyle Monangai took home MVP honors with a 163 yards rushing, while Rutgers won its sixth bowl game under Head Coach Greg Schiano. More than 35,314 were in attendance to watch the game. Rutgers also earned its first ever win against the University of Miami.
