Rutgers alum Isiah Pacheco is heading to Las Vegas.

Pacheco earned the trip with his Kansas City teammates who punched their stamps to the Big Game with a resounding 17-10 triumph over top seeded Baltimore, in a game that was never really that close.

For his part, the Vineland, New Jersey product had a grand total of 82 yards on the day, including 68 yards rushing on 24 carries.

He set the tone for the afternoon early and often, gashing Baltimore whenever he touched the football. Pacheco's two-yard plunge into the end zone in the opening seconds of the second quarter gave Kansas City a dominant 14-0 lead. They would never look back again.

Pacheco has become a huge impact player for Kansas City the past two seasons. He has run for 1,765 yards and 12 touchdowns in his young career, and already has a championship ring to his name. He and his KC teammates are looking for another one.

In four years at Rutgers, Pacheco helped re-set the standard for big time backs with the Scarlet Knights. He averaged 4.3 yards a carry, rushing for a grand total of 2,442 yards in his Rutgers career.

Pacheco wasn't the only Rutgers alum running his heart out in the conference championships. Baltimore's Gus Edwards ran for 20-yards on three carries, as he and the Baltimore offense struggled against Steve Spanguolo's blitzes.

Pacheco and Kansas City go up against San Francisco for all the marbles on February 11 in Las Vegas.
