Somerset Patriots are Rolling After Monster Victory
The Somerset Patriots are rolling after a convincing 11-2 victory over the New York Mets Double-A affiliate, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. Somerset is now riding a four-game winning streak into a road trip to face arch rival Portland.
Every single player in the Patriots lineup delivered a hit on Sunday, with Trey Sweeney, Brandon Lockridge, Anthony Seigler and Tyler Hardman all delivering multi-hit games.

In fact Hardman and Lockridge (our Fox Sports New Jersey Player of the Week) delivered two run bombs.
Austin Wells also hit a mammoth two-run shot to push the Patriots out to an 8-2 lead. Wells has been on fire since returning to the Somerset lineup. he is hitting .263 with three homers and seven RBI.

On the hill, Blane Abeyta tossed six innings, allowing only two runs on four hits, allowed four walks and struck out one.
