Generals Open Canton Hub vs. Pittsburgh
The New Jersey Generals will be at home (sort of) as they open up the Canton hub against their co-tenants for this season, the Pittsburgh Maulers. Both teams are 0-1 and are in dire need of a victory.
The Generals (0-1) were done in by turnovers last week, as a pair of fumbles turned into touchdowns for the Birmingham Stallions who won going away 27-10.
It’s so pretty 🤩

Statistically speaking the Generals hung tough with the defending USFL Champions, out-gaining the Stallions through the air 223-164, and posting a better yards per attempt ratio of 8.6 YPA to 5.8 for Birmingham.
“We gave up big plays and we lost the situation game,” Head Coach Mike Riley was quoted as saying on THEUSFL.com.
As for the Maulers, they lost 22-15 to the New Orleans Breakers last week in a game that wasn’t as close as the final score indicated.
Former Jets back-up quarterback James Morgan struggled for Pittsburgh, completing 6-of-15 for 58 yards.
This is a great opportunity for the Generals to get win number one, and get back to .500.
