Back in 1993 Jurassic Park was all the rage at the box office. Meatloaf was topping the charts in music, and Bill Clinton was president.
Also in 1993, Rutgers softball started its season 4-0. Well, the 2023 version of the Scarlet Knights duplicated that effort winning its first four games of the season on Friday and Saturday, capping it off with an 8-5 win over Seattle and a 4-1 win over UC Davis at the NorCal Kickoff.
In the four games, Kyleigh Sands hit .600 with three RBI and 10 total bases. Payton Lincavage added an impressive .385 with a homer and 8 RBI in the four contests.
