Rutgers Releases 2023 Football Schedule
While there is still plenty of football to be played in the 2022 campaign, the Big Ten announced the complete schedule for the 2023 season. It will be the final season without USC and UCLA on the schedule.
Rutgers opens next season with three straight home games starting September 2 against Big Ten rival Northwestern. It will be the first time since joining the Big Ten conference that Rutgers opens a season with a conference opponent.
Rutgers leads the all time series with Northwestern 3-2. The Wildcats have won the last two meetings in 2018 and 2021.
Week 2 has Rutgers welcoming Temple into SHI Stadium. Rutgers will close out the three-game home-stand in Week 3 against former Big East rival Virginia Tech.
In week 4 the Scarlet Knights will hit the road for Ann Arbor, Michigan to face the Michigan Wolverines.
Other highlighted home games include: October 14 against Michigan State, November 4 against Ohio State, and the season finale November 25 against Maryland.
Game times and dates are subject to change. Official kick-off times won’t be official until next fall.
