Brooklyn Nets vs. Milwaukee Bucks Preview
The Brooklyn Nets will host the Milwaukee Bucks Thursday night. Both stars from both teams are coming off of 40-point games. In the Bucks last matchup against the 76ers Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 40 points to help his team win. Kevin Durant had 41 against the Pistons on Tuesday night. With playoff spots up for grabs the play of both stars and their teammates is crucial.

If the Nets want to finish the season off strong Kyrie Irving’s play will have to be strong as well. In his first game back at home against the Hornets he had 16 points on 6-22 from the field. He picked up the slack Tuesday night scoring 24 points. In their last game against the Bucks Irving had 38 points and they won the game. With no Ben Simmons still and Irving finally back the full time he can finally take some of the pressure off of Durant.
The Bucks are currently second in the Eastern Conference and are one game back from the first place spot. Over the last 10 games, the Bucks two stars have been playing well. Antetokounmpo has averaged 29.9 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game. Khris Middleton is averaging 21.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and is shooting a good 44.4% from the field. If those two are clicking plus their third star Jrue Holiday is on this team can repeat as champions.
The Nets are currently eighth in the Eastern Conference. They are one game ahead of the tenth spot and two games behind the seventh spot. Over the last 10 games, Durant has been averaging 32.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game.
With Irving back full time if he and Durant can catch fire at the same time they can become one of the scariest lower seeds in the east.
Every game from here on out is a big game for both teams the playoff race is so tight there is no nights off.
