Burks Powers Knicks to Victory over Kings
KNICKS 116 – KINGS 96
After losing three in a row, and six of their last seven, the Knicks finally got back into the winners circle with a 116-96 win over the Sacramento Kings at the Garden on Monday night.
Six Knicks were in double-figures, led by Alec Burks, who powered New York with 21 points off the bench. Evan Fournier contributed 18 points, and Julius Randle added 17 points in the victory.

The only time the Knicks trailed it was in the early stages of the game, when Sacremento held a slim 5-4 lead, before New York went on a 9-2 run to take a 13-7 lead. The Knicks would never look back, leading by as many as 29 points, 114-85 when Obi Toppin hit a three-pointer with 2:50 to go in the game. Toppin had 14 points. Quentin Grimes also had 14 points in the victory for New York.
At 24-27 the Knicks will host the Grizzlies, Wednesday night.
