Fantasy Football League: It’s Not About Winning.
It was a dark and dreary Monday night football when the chips were down after a crush defeat in week two… I needed a hero to rise like the phoenix. Sadly I didn’t get that fairy tale ending. Now that I have lost three in a row, I understand it’s not about winning anymore. It’s about ruining another person’s season. There is one person in my league whose season I would be happy to ruin and I plan on doing so when I face them in week seven.
Now I took a lot of advice for this week, which says a lot more about you all than it does about me. This loss its on all of us. Like many people said I did grab Jerome Ford after the he took over for Nick Chubb my thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family. However, I am worried about this pick as Kareem Hunt was signed to a one year contract. I also grabbed Josh Reynolds to hopefully give me a solid WR lineup for weeks ahead.
Now it’s everybody’s favorite segment: Josh Reynolds was one the field the entire game and he let me down every step of the way. He didn’t get looked at all game, which was really a let down considering in the first two games he put up at least 10+ points. I’m keeping him with the hopes he turns things around. Now as for my other pick up Ford met the quota putting up 19.1 points! My wide receivers also had lack luster performances, leading me to grab Tank Dell off of waivers in hopes of getting a boost. I need a tank on my team as some of these matchups would have been closer if I had productivity! I also grabbed De’von Achane, just in case Miami decides to absolute demolish again this week. We will never forget about what happened to the Broncos and I’m sure they won’t either.
Darren Waller is going to the bench. I know people have told me he is a top 10 tight end, but I do not care, the giants are horrendous and he’s not getting the job done. Hopefully new addition Luke Musgrave can pick up the slack. Though with my luck this will be the week Waller puts up actual points.
Right now our chances of making playoffs is 21% so I need your help. Either email [email protected] or sign in below to give your fantasy advice!
