SIXERS 96 – NETS 84
If the Nets are going to pull off a major upset in this series, they can’t have games like Game 2. Brooklyn shot only 38 percent from the floor, despite a +10 turnover ratio in a game that felt akin the the good ole days of the 1990s and early 2000’s when NBA games were about defense and intimidation at the rim.
Cameron Johnson led the way for Brooklyn, dropping a team high 28-points, but it was nowhere close to the numbers Tyrese Maxey posted, leading all scorers with 33 points for Philadelphia. Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris each finished with 20 points for the Sixers.
The scene now shifts to Brooklyn where the outmanned Nets will try to do the impossible and comeback and make this a series.
