The Scarlet-White Spring Game is just 20 days away, and Rutgers Football Head Coach Greg Schiano is getting an early look at his 2023 Scarlet Knights the past two weeks in spring practices.

Rutgers Signs 21 Players to 2023 Recruiting Class

Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano announced the recruiting class for 2023 with 21 new faces to the football program. Eight different states were represented in the draft class, and six of the players were from New Jersey, according to a press release issued by the university.

The six New Jersey players include Logan Blake from Frenchtown; Nick Oliveira of Mullica Hill; JaSire’ Peterson of Union City; Eric Rodgers of Burlington; John Stone of Sewell; and Famah Toure of Pleasantville.

Rutgers also signed Ian Strong, who was the top recruit out of New York.

The class has four offensive linemen and defensive backs, with three wide receivers, two defensive linemen and linebackers, and a pair listed as athletes. Long snapper, quarterback, running back, and tight end are represented with one signee each.
