Devils Can’t Stop Preds
PREDATORS 6 – DEVILS 4
After consecutive thrillers, the New Jersey Devils couldn’t hold off a miraculous Nashville comeback, falling 6-4 on the road Thursday night.
In a game that was mostly a back and forth affair, the Devils held a narrow 3-2 lead until Mikael Granlund knotted the game up at three on a back-hander up against the net with 8:27 to go in the second period.

It was all Nashville from there. The Predators scored three times in the third period with Matt Duchene giving the Preds the lead 4-3 with a little over 11 minutes to go in regulation. Filip Forsberg padded that lead with his 19th goal of the year to make it 5-3.
“It’s that simple. We did not deserve to win that one tonight.”
