‘League Of Legends’ Season 13 Week One Predictions
,It’s finally time for season 13 of League of Legends E-Sports. All the teams have their opening rosters for what is an important time in the season. They’ll get to see first hand if the new players and returning players will be able to create a winning team.
So in these best-of-one matches who’s most likely to have a good start and which matches will be a battle of skill?

Looking at the matchups we have a big opening game with 100Thieves taking on Cloud9. This is big because during the 2022 LCS Championship Cloud9 beat out 100Thieves in both the Semi-Finals and in the Championship game after 100Thieves won in the Losers Bracket.
So I can imagine 100Thieves want vengeance, but will they be able to do it? Considering they have four new members only keeping their Jungler ‘Closer’. I’d say yes. They have ‘Doublelift’ a previous eight-time LCS champion who is coming out of retirement. If he is able to play better since retiring in 2020 then that might make up for their new support ‘Busio’. Who is coming from their training team for the first time in his professional career. Cloud9 kept most of their team in the postseason, only picking up a new Mid-Lane so they have the advantage of teamwork. This will be a test of skills in each lane.
Another big team is Evil Geniuses, who picked up ‘FBI’ and ‘Ssumday’, This solves their ADC problem as FBI is a seasoned vet and both players were formerly on 100 Thieves so they already have some level of teamwork and ‘Ssumday’ is considered one of the best Top laners in the LCS. In opening week though they face Golden Guardians so no offense this should be a blowout. Golden Guardians did pick up my personal favorite support ‘Huhi’ but I don’t think it’ll be enough.
Featuring a defending World Champion in the jungle and former #LCS MVP up top, here's @TeamLiquidLoL's starting roster for Spring 2023:

After that, the only other game I’ll have eyes on is FlyQuest vs Team Liquid. FlyQuest lost to Team Liqud in Round one of the LCS Championship. Meanwhile, both teams are looking to make a dent in the upper bracket. Team Liqud did place overall higher in the previous season. So it will be an uphill battle for FlyQuest considering they have a whole new team. They’re skilled players but the question is how far can they go against Team Liqud’s new players? Which include Jungler ‘Pysoik’ who just won Worlds a few months ago with the championship team DRX.
All I know for sure is that these opening games will have a huge effect on the rest of the season. We could see new teams that were placed lower have massive gains here, because of player changes like we saw with Evil Geniuses in their Spring Season. They were in fourth then in Summer, they became the top team. The action begins on the 26th at 3 pm so stay connected for all your E-Sports updates right here.
