As D.J. Khaled once sang "All I do is win, win, win no matter what ..." And that is exactly what the New Jersey Devils are doing right about now. Win, win and win some more.

Jersey extended its winning streak to ten games after another impressive showing, 5-1 over the Montreal Canadiens across the border.  It is the third longest winning streak in Devils franchise history. The longest winning streak in Devils history is 13 games, which happened during the 2000-01 season, the year the Devils fell to the Colorado Avalanche in the Stanley Cup Finals. New Jersey also improved to an impressive 6-1 on the road this year.

Jack Hughes had two goals in Tuesday's action. The first score coming on a power play four minutes into the second period that gave the Devils a 1-0 lead. His second goal closed out the second period and handed New Jersey a 3-1 advantage.

Dougie Hamilton, Jesper Bratt and John Marino also scored for the Devils in the victory.

New Jersey has now scored 60 goals this season, tied for third most in the League this year with Dallas.  The Devils and Stars trail only the Las Vegas Knights and LA Kings (61 goals) and the Boston Bruins (65 goals).

During the ten game winning streak, New Jersey is scoring on average 4.3 goals a game, and is tied with Dallas for second in the league in goals per game overall on the year with 3.75.

“It all about the team. It’s any line that’s contributing, a defense pair, the goaltender making saves,” Devils coach Lindy Ruff said. “When you’re going that well, it’s all about team play and everybody participating in the wins.”

The Devils will visit Toronto on Thursday.
