Rutgers vs UMass-Lowell Preview
Rutgers took care of business last time out blowing out Sacred Heart 88-50. This win gave coach Steve Pikiell his 100th win as Rutgers head coach. He is the seventh coach to hit 100 wins in school history. Senior guard Paul Mulcahy made sure this achievement did not go unnoticed.
“That’s a major achievement,” the senior point guard said. “Coach Pikiell worked his tail off since he got here. He keeps getting better. He’s always watching films. He’s an incredible coach and he has done incredible things in the short time he’s been here. I’m thankful he’s, my coach. He doesn’t talk about himself enough, but that’s big time.”

In the last two games, Rutgers has won against Colombia by 40 and this last game by 38. This team looks strong on defense everyone is getting steals and Cliff is holding it down in the middle with blocks and rebounds. As the season goes on expect this team to only get stronger. The transfer of Cam Spencer has helped a lot as he is contributing in a major way already. The Scarlet Knights have already sold out the first two games of the season. It is their 11th straight sellout and there are already nine future games that will be sold out.
The Scarlet Knights will host UMass Lowell Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
