BREAKING: Rutgers running back Sam Brown will miss the remainder of the season with a lower-body injury. Really unfortunate news for the Scarlet Knights and Brown, who worked really hard to earn himself a bigger role and was obviously excelling in it.

Brown had lit a charge into Rutgers’ offense leading the team with 369 yards and three touchdowns on 85 carries this season. He ran for 101 yards on 28 carries last week in a 24-17 victory over Indiana.
That means Kyle Monangai and Salaam Al-Shadee will get the majority of the carries the rest of the way for Rutgers this season.
