How to Watch the 2022 Winter Olympics

The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics are finally here. There will be many different platforms for you to watch your favorite events. There will be 2,800 hours of coverage across NBC…

The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics are finally here. There will be many different platforms for you to watch your favorite events. There will be 2,800 hours of coverage across NBC Universal channels including NBC, USA Network, CNBC, and NBCOlympics.com and streaming on the Peacock app. The Peacock app for the first time will have all events and coverage, both live and on demand.

Primetime coverage of the games will begin February 3 on NBC and Peacock. Feb. 4 at 6:30 a.m. is when there will be live coverage of the opening ceremony. NBCOlympics.com and the NBC Sports app are other places to watch live coverage of events but you will need to sign in with your TV provider.

No cable, no problem there are still other ways to stream the Olympics:

  • Peacock is both a free and premium streaming platform. If you choose to go the free route Peacock has the Olympic Spotlight Channel an exclusive studio programming that will feature some of the athletes competing in this year’s games. If you decide to buy the premium you will have to pay $5 a month. There will be access to stream all of NBC’s coverage on the platform and access to USA Network and CNBC’s coverage.
  • Sling TV will have the Olympic Channel and it will give access to NBC with USA Network and other channels to watch the Olympics. Sling Blue is the package that will have coverage of the games. Plus you can upgrade to News Extra or Sports Extra to catch all of the coverage. The service offers three-day free trial.
  • Hulu Live TV will have coverage via NBC plus 60 other channels. It will cost $70 a month and there will be access to Disney Plus and ESPN+. There is a one week free trial.
  • Fubo TV will have coverage of the games as well have access to 100 plus channels. There is a seven day trial and the service costs $65 a month.
  • YouTube TV will have NBC’s coverage of the games. Their service will costs $65 a month and they offer free trials.

The 2022 Winter Olympic Games begin tomorrow (February 2) in Beijing.
