The good vibes just keep coming for the New York Yankees Double-A affiliate, the Somerset Patriots.

Somerset improved to a season best 19-games over .500 with a 6-4 victory over the Bowie Bay Sox in 11-innings on Sunday night. The victory improves the Pats record to 4-1 to open the second half.

With the score knotted at three in the 11th inning, the Patriots plated the winning runs in an eventful inning that included four hits, two wild pitches and a passed ball.

Austin Wells opened the inning as the designated runner at second, before advancing to third on a wild pitch. Moments later Everson Pereira knocked home Wells with an RBI single up the middle to give the Pats a 4-3 lead.

A wild pitch and a passed ball allowed Pereira to advance to third, setting the table for Jession Rosario to drive Pereira home on a sharp single.

Finally Matt Pita's RBI single drove home Rosario to give the Patriots a 6-3 advantage.

Overall Somerset finished with 13 hits, one hit shy of their season high.

Four Somerset pitchers combined to hold the Bay Sox to just four hits, including starter Blane Abeyta, who held Bowie to just two hits over six innings of work.
