What is it about?
While it has been fun to live vicariously through Jason Kelce both on and off the field, this documentary promises to give us a glimpse into his deeper being as he tackles the decision to retire.
You might remember, after the 2022-23 season, Jason Kelce was wrestling with the idea of hanging up his shoulder pads. The dad of two became a dad of three. He and his brother gained worldwide attention with their Super Bowl appearance. And the brothers found a place in the hearts, homes, and earbuds of football fans around the globe with their critically acclaimed podcast New Heights.
Kelce will stream on Amazon and Skydance. It debuts on September 12th.
More about Jason Kelce:
Jason Daniel Kelce was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Donna (Mama Kelce) and Ed Kelce. He is the older brother of fellow NFL player Travis Kelce. The brothers gained massive appeal during the 2022-23 football season when their respective teams (Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs) made it to the Super Bowl – pitting brother against brother.
We don’t need to get into details about which team won. It is still a hard pill to swallow.
Jason Kelce is getting noticed
Every year the NFL asks the players to vote on their favorite players. This year Jason Kelce was voted the 37th-best player in the NFL by his peers.
