Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Visit New Jersey
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a visit to New Jersey last week in honor of Veterans Day and Remembrance Day in the United Kingdom and Commonwealth Nations.
The pair visited Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst on Thursday, November 11.
According to a news release, The Duke of Sussex “explained the importance of having a unique military family that shared the same understanding of what it takes to serve, emphasizing camaraderie, mental health and wellness.”
Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst posted the following statement to its Facebook page:
Yesterday Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in honor of Veterans Day and Remembrance Day in the United Kingdom and Commonwealth Nations, Nov. 11. During the visit, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex met with Sailors, Soldiers, Marines, Airmen, Coast Guardsman and their families to discuss the challenges and experiences they have throughout their military careers.
Prince Harry retired in 2015 after serving 10 years in the British Army.
