Woman Jumps Barrier at Bronx Zoo Lion Exhibit
This is not the type of exhibit people came to see at the zoo.
Police say a woman climbed over a barrier at the Bronx Zoo’s lion exhibit Thursday afternoon and cell phone footage shows her holding roses and tossing $100 bills into the air towards a lion.
The woman is seen in a blonde wig, red dress, and leopard-print shawl. A spokesperson for the Bronx Zoo said that witnesses ran to get security, but by the time they got there – she was gone.
Zoo officials say they will press charges against the woman for criminal trespass if she is identified.

“Lady, I'm not going to tell you again. Stop throwing money at me. This is a ZOO not a strip club.” Said the lion who shook his mane in disbelief and wondered why he was behind bars while people like that weren't.#BronxZoo pic.twitter.com/g1kVpRh1Hv
