It has been a rather bizarre couple of days in the New York/New Jersey area as smoke from the Canadian Wildfires continue to make their way down into the Northeastern part of the United States creating poor visibility, even worse air quality, and an eerie redish/orange glow in the air that make is feel like we’re living the movies Total Recall or Blade Runner 2049.

Reports indicate the air quality in New York is the worst it has ever been. New Jersey is also drawing hazardous marks for unhealthy air quality.

The New York Yankees smartly postponed their game against the Chicago White Sox on Wednesday. They are scheduled to play a double-header on Thursday.

Let’s take a look at some of the surreal images from the day.
