Fantasy Football League: One Win Is All It Takes
This week was immensely important to me, not only on a fantasy level as not only would it determine if I could continue to have a chance at making playoffs. But it was personal because I was facing the Program Director here at Fox Sports, the one, the only Jack Myatt. And what else can I say but… My team came in clutch and we wiped the floor with him.
The self proclaimed “Sports expert” had this to say about his loss:
“It is always nice to see the Young Jedi succeed. Obviously this week Jered’s picks did far better than I did and he did indeed wipe the floor on me.. But of course I have totally faith in my young padawan that next week he will fall flat on his butt once again.”
He has a point as I go against the person currently winning our league. I hope my players can repeat their success this week. However not all of my players performed so let’s separate the players who got me this BLOW OUT win.
First and foremost our VIP of the week is Patrick Mahomes. He was electric this week putting up 33 fantasy points with three touchdowns and over 400 yards. So welcome back Patty I hope you continue this in week 8. Another stellar performer was Darren Waller who was way more productive with his eight targets, for 98 yards and a touchdown.
Now the people I really need to wake up is Brian Robinson and the commanders offense. They lost to the Giants. It’s not looking good and I can’t really afford to lose anymore players as the waiver wire is slim pickings. But with Ford who was one of my high producing players now possibly out. I’ll need to make some move.
Which is why I need your help, sign in below and drop your fantasy football advice, a lot of people are looking at prospects off the waiver wire and I took some by drafting Jake Bobo and Darrell Henderson. So let me know how I can make my playoff chances just a bit higher!
