Somerset County Park Commission To Host Spring Plant Sale for Earth Day

The Somerset County Park Commission’s Leonard J. Buck Garden will host a spring plant sale on April 23 and 24 to celebrate Earth Day.

Visitors will have the chance to enhance their gardens with handmade planters and other items available for purchase with a wide selection of plants such as perennials, ferns, woody plants, and unique succulents.

This year the Earth Day theme is “Together We Must Invest in Our Planet.” The message intends to incite environmentalists, organizations and everyday people to invest their time and money toward reducing their carbon footprint and creating global, national and local policy changes.
