Just a week away from his scheduled Tommy Fury has backed out of the fight between himself and undefeated celebrity boxer Jake Paul. From the Fury camp it’s being stated that Tommy was forced to pull out of the fight due to injury, however that did not stop Jake Paul from poking fun at the Fury's over his social media

However, in the same post Jake discloses that a fight will still be happening as his previous opponent former UFC Champion Tyron Woodley, has agreed to have a rematch. For those who either didn’t watch the fight or forgot. Jake Paul was able to secure a split decision victory going all nine rounds.

No statements have been posted on Tommy Fury’s twitter, but he did make an Instagram post explaining his injury from a broken rib and is actually looking to reschedule the fight with Jake Paul.

Jake hasn’t responded to this as of yet, choosing to remained focus on his rematch. Which fans are excited about considering Tryon was Jake’s toughest opponent so far, with him being staggered and having to be more careful against the UFC fighter. This rematch may be of the same caliber if Jake’s not careful. Though his confidence is unwavering as he offered Tyron the same bet of an extra $500,000 if Tryon can knock him out.

The match has been dubbed “Leave No Doubt” in reference to their last fight where Tyron stated in the post-fight interview that he felt he had played to safe and could definitely beat Jake if he had tried harder, but Jake is coming in with the same goal looking to actually win by knock-out instead of a split decision. Whether or not either can will be determined the night of the fight which is still set to take place December 18th at the Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay FL, the main card begins 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, with the main event expected to begin 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT.
