Big nights on the glass by Awa Sidibe (11 points, 10 board) and Chyna Cornwell (10 points, 10 boards) was not enough as Seton Hall used a 28-point second quarter to run away with the battle of New Jersey DI programs 75-57 at Jersey Mike's Arena on Friday night.

Sidibe and Cornwell registered the first double-doubles of the season for Rutgers, and were key cogs in Rutgers jumping out to a 17-16 lead in the first quarter. Both players had four points in the opening frame, with Corwell hitting a couple of free-throws to help Rutgers build a 17-14 lead late in the quarter.

A three-pointer by Abby Streeter gave Rutgers a 15-14 lead with 1:52 to go in the first quarter.

However, a 17-2 run by Seton Hall to open the second quarter expanded the Pirates lead to 15 points, 36-21 with 5:31 to go before halftime. The Pirates connected on four three-pointers during the run, with Lauren Park-Lane accounting for three of them from downtown.

Lane would hit one more three with :53 seconds to go in the first half that blew the game open at 43-29. Seton would never look back.

Lane finished the night with 18 points on 6-of-15 shooting. Sidney Cooks led all scorers for Seton Hall with 29 points on 12-of-19 shooting.

Rutgers was led Kassondra Brown who had 13 points on the night, followed by Sidibe and Cornwell's double-double.
