If you're like me, one of the yearly traditions during the fall with my friends and family is to go apple picking. The fun, seasonal, and wholesome activity typically takes place in late August through the end of October for the state of New Jersey.

Yelp has revealed its Top 25 apple picking spots in the United States and New Jersey is home to two of them. Battleview Orchards located in Freehold comes in second on the list with Windy Brow Farms in Fredon Township at number ten.

While farms and orchards have become more than simply picking apples, it's nice to see local places highlighted for what we've all kept returning for over the years.

Whether you're going to stock up on your snack for the week, prepping to bake a pie, or simply planning a fun activity, picking apples is always a good choice.
