These Two LCS Teams May Be Selling Their Spots For Good.
Some major E-sports news coming the north American League Champion Series (LCS) as not one but two LCS teams may be hanging up their keyboards for good and selling their spots. What does this mean for the league and how could it have a major impact on the upcoming summer season?
Well firstly which teams are we talking about here? Coming to us from dotesports TSM and CLG are the two teams in which rumors of their departure from the league have been spreading ever since the former failed to make playoffs and the latter lost in round one of both the winners and losers bracket. However, this is a bit shocking to me as both teams have a long standing history in the LCS and have been moving up the latter in terms of team ranks. Of course long ago both teams were also the top in the league. However reportedly CLG would be selling their spot due to speculated financial problems, meaning TSM has been making massive layoffs. However, nothing is official yet.

So what this means is that like we saw recently in the LEC, new teams may be taking their spots and may even bring new talent into the league. Fans are already speculating what organizations would be a good fit with some even saying Mr. Beasts after he made comments at last years Worlds that he was very interested in buying and making an LCS team that could compete on the international stage. Something LCS teams usually struggle with. Another and I think this would be very funny is Moist Esports. Which is ran by popular content creator Moist Cr1TiKaL.
If this happens this would be the first time a team has left the league or rebranded since 2019.
