Derek Jeter is going to bat for Fox Sports and its Major League Baseball coverage starting this season.
The announcement was made on the Fox Big Game Pregame show as the Yankees legend joined fellow Yankee Alex Rodriguez and New York Giants Hall of Famer Michael Strahan.
It was not made clear whether Jeter will only do studio work or if he will go into the booth as well. But in all likelihood joins the front desk with Rodriguez and former Red Sox rival David “Big Papi” Ortiz.
The Major League Baseball season is on tap with spring training starting this week and the regular season opening March 30.
