Jersey Guy Releases New Eagles Fight Song “Philadelphia (Bleed Green)”
Being the resident Philadelphia Eagles fan at the radio station, when this song was released it was sent directly to me for immediate inspection. It’s not going to replace “Fly Eagles Fly,” but it may be another Eagles fight song that could be heard belted out by fans at Eagles games, tailgate parties, and Delaware Valley homes on Sundays.
New Eagles Fight Song
The song, Philadelphia (Bleed Green) by South Jersey’s Kenny Curcio has a great hook that could certainly fit into the playlist at Lincoln Financial Field on South Philly game days.
During my conversation with Kenny along with the song’s co-writers Al Panaccio and Ryan Fiske, they shared what inspired the birth of the tune.
Kenny said, “We’re all from South Jersey in the Medford, Marlton, and Hammonton area about a half hour from Philadelphia. Al and I did an Eagles tailgate a few years ago, and that’s where the idea started. This Spring is when we kind of took the idea and wanted to create an anthem for the Eagles for this season.”

Al admitted that Kenny did the bulk of the writing and “Ryan and I tweaked it a little bit. Philly fans take their sports very seriously, as you know, we’re just trying to help bring everybody together and rally around the team, we’re hoping for a good year and it’s looking good so that will obviously help the song as well.” He continued, “It worked out pretty good, Kenny and I have written several songs together, we have a pretty good formula, we work together pretty well, and we’re almost like brothers really.”
Ryan, an Eagles season ticket holder, sings one of the verses and backing vocals, “helped with the structure of the song” and shared that they “Flew down to Nashville and recorded this in an awesome studio, fully professionally produced.” Whether you like the song or not, it’s technically first-rate with excellent production value.

Take the Septa Train ‘for it’s too late
Or pull on up to the Jetro gate
Crack a cold one, pack a Skoal, light up the coals, smoke them ribs and the dogs
Build a base with the youse and yalls
Ain’t no race when them Eagles call
We’re in it to win it who bleed green
With the G R double E N
It’s time to start again, it’s time
To give a hundred and 10 percent
We’ll climb, and we’ll run, and we’ll fight
Like Rocky 4, 5, 6… 3-2-1
Yea it takes one to know one
A brother in green that bleeds for a rerun
Of the two thousand 18, Saint Nick and the
Philly Special raising the greatest
Victory of them all
Lombardi’s surely proud of that call
Broad Street rockin wall to wall
With Kelce screamin Hungry dogs!
Philadelphia
It’s time to get loud
Let them hear you now!
Philadelphia
It’s A Philly Thing
Lets go get that ring!
Chorus:
BLEED GREEN
BLEED GREEN
BLEED GREEN

Rock a 1 or a 2-0… if you please
Take the P to the H I double L Y
Put them hands to the sky to the left to the right
The stadium is rockin’
Gettin’ louder and louder as we take it to the highest
And there’s nothing that can stop it
