The Chicken Or The Egg Opens Second N.J. Location

The Chicken or the Egg has opened its second New Jersey location. The Jersey Shore restaurant opened a new spot in Marlton on Monday, Feb. 6. It is located at 121 Route 70 in The Shoppes at Renaissance Square, taking over the site previously housed by Kmart.
The Chicken or the Egg offers wings, sandwiches, and an extensive breakfast and brunch menu. Their “wing-o-meter” has a spicy scale of no spice at all to “ludacris.” They also offer several starters such as fried pickle chips and nachos as well as fudge brownie sundae and a cinnamon icecream roll for dessert.
According to NJ Advance Media, “Marlton’s new 9,449-square-foot restaurant features an indoor space with 275 seats and a bar lined with televisions.Its outdoor space seats 200 guests and features a second bar, lounge seats and fire pits.”
The eatery which is commonly called “Chegg” by locals, first opened in 1991. That restaurant is still open and is located in Beach Haven on Long Beach Island and is open 24 hours during the summer.
The new Chegg in Marlton offers a full menu all day and opens daily at 7 a.m. It closes at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
