Artemi Panarin reached 600 career points, and the New York Rangers did away with the Vegas Golden Knights 5-1 as New York improved to 13-10-5 on the season. According to ESPN, "Panarin reached that number in his 535th game, and only Connor McDavid (421), Sidney Crosby (430), Alex Ovechkin (464) and Evgeni Malkin  (490) have gotten there quicker."

Panarin reached the milestone when he connected with Mika Zibanejad who scored his first goal of the night on a powerplay, 5:59 into the third period to give the Rangers a 2-1 lead. Zibanejad would add another goal to close out the scoring in the third period.

Filip Chytil and Alexis Lafreniere also scored in the third period as the Rangers ran away from the Golden Knights.

Rangers goalie Igor Shesterkin recorded 25 saves on 26 shots on goal while in net for the Blue Shirts.

New York visits Colorado on Friday night.
