And back and forth we go! The New York Rangers forced a deciding Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals with a 5-2 win over Carolina. The Hurricanes remain winless on the road this postseason.

Two first period goals by Tyler Motte and Mika Zibanejad put the Blue Shirts up 2-0, and they never looked back. By the second period it was the Filip Chytil show, as the 22-year old, who had only eight goals all season notched his third and fourth goals of this postseason. His efforts paved the way a Rangers 4-1 lead.

Igor Shesterkin was also brilliant in goal, recording 37 saves on 39 shots on goal as he continues to lower his GAA down to 2.74 for this postseason run.

It all comes down to Game 7 on Monday night in Carolina. The Rangers have struggled on the road in Charlotte in this series, having yet to win a game there. If the Rangers are to advance to face the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Conference Finals, they will need Shsterkin to be lights out, and for Zibanejad and Kris Kreider to step up in big spots.
