Over the past few days more information about USA team roosters has come on one of them being the U.S Figure Skating which included Nathan Chen, the six-time national champion had a stunning performance on the ice that kept his record going despite having a few mishaps while performing, though the professional was able to keep his head up and confidence high as he skated his way to victory. Hopefully he as well as the other members of team USA can perform just as well in the singles portion of ice skating.
Meanwhile there are huge talks among the sports community about Timothy LeDuc, who is set to become the first openly non binary athlete to compete at the Winter Olympics, however LeDuc wants people to focus more about being open with their sexuality and gender. Rather than just focusing on just LeDuc’s level of success in sports as a non-binary athlete.
A true trail-blazer.

However, not all is fine and dandy as some still question if some well-known athletes like professional snowboarder Shawn White will be in attendance. For those who don’t know Shawn pulled out of the U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix due to concerns over lingering Covid symptoms. No changes have been made to the Team USA snowboarding roster leaving some uncertain if Shawn will be a last second addition.
But there are bigger issues than team roster’s as several countries have chosen to have an official or unofficial boycott of the Olympic games. over accusations against the hosting government for crimes against humanity, there continues to be growing tension and debate as the games get closer.
