Former Rutgers Women’s Hoops Star Goes Viral
We are sure you have seen it already. Just before the Christmas holiday, a video went viral about a third grade teacher at an elementary school in Washington D.C. draining a three-point shot in the playground.
Her kids went wild.
It turns out that was not just any ordinary teacher.
A moment those kids will never forget 🥰

That teacher was Kathleen Fitzpatrick, who played for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights Women’s Basketball team during her redshirt senior season in 2017-18. She played in 31 games that season, starting in 16. She scored a season high nine points against Wisconsin on February 14, 2018, and was 3-for-5 from beyond the arch.
The Holy Trinity School in Washington released a statement on it’s Instagram, “We are overwhelmed by the messages and comments we have received and feel blessed that Ms. Fitz gave us permission to share this video, which has brought a smile to so many people all over the world.”
