Popular Netflix Show: What Can Fans Expect From ‘Arcane’ Season 2?
November was a hot month for announcements, trailers and most importantly animated productions. This is all steaming from Riot Games partnering with Netflix to create the first ever League of Legends animated series. Fans were concerned at first upon hearing the popular PC game would be receiving an animated series, but were willing to give it a chance. The teams working on Arcane blew the expectations out of the water with the series debut all the way to the chilling cliffhanger of season one.
However, this choice was a massive success earing the title rank 2 in Netflix’s weekly top 10. Arcane even went on to take the number one spot from series like Tiger King 2 and Narcos Season 3. As of writing Arcane sits comfortably in the top 10 for the third week in a row with more than 100 million hours watched, despite only having nine episodes in the first season.
Fans were happy with direction and focus of the series seeing popular characters like Caitlyn, Jinx and Vi. As well as other popular characters like Heimindinger and Ekko. With even more new characters on screen as well. Arcane was even able to draw in new fans that had never heard of League of Legends, the story of Arcane being as close to the lore as possible. The team went right from their victory to the accouchement of Season 2.

This cliffhanger at the end of the season as well as this announcement got fans speculating about what content from the games lore they may see in season 2 and a popular theory is that we will be seeing Warwick this is coming from the end of the announcement trailer his theme can be heard as well as his creator Singed being a featured character in season 1. Some details in the lore may need to be retconned or just ignored for this to happen, but this wouldn’t be the first time Riot has updated the lore for certain characters to fit the ongoing story.
It remains unclear when exactly Arcane Season 2 will be available to the public with the team most likely looking for an early 2022 release. As for the actual game League of Legends continues to move forward with its Esport’s roadmap as the Game Awards are days away.
