Field Hockey is not the only sport at Rutgers that is going dancing this November.

Rutgers women's soccer team is heading to the NCAA Tournament as a number one seed, the highest ranking the program has had entering the tournament in its history.  Rutgers will join Duke, Virginia and Florida State as number one seeds in the tournament.

Rutgers will host Bucknell this upcoming weekend at Yurcak Field, although an exact time and date is still being ironed out.

The Scarlet Knights head into the tournament after completing a historic season that saw them capture the Big 10 Regular Season title after posting a perfect 10-0 record in conference play. Rutgers carried a 13-game winning streak into the Big 10 Tournament Championship game, before falling to Michigan in a tight 1-0 contest on Sunday.

Rutgers 18-wins broke a program record of 15 wins set in 1986.

"A total of 18 different Scarlet Knights have contributed to a program-record totals of 55 goals, 53 assists and 163 points. The group also established a program-best 13-game winning streak for the record books.

"Rutgers will appear in the Tournament for the 10th consecutive year, 12th time in the last 14 years, and 16th time overall. The Scarlet Knights have been ranked or receiving votes for 14 straight seasons, climbing to its highest ranking of No. 4 this season. The team enters the NCAA Tournament with No. 3 in the latest RPI," (Scarletknights.com).
