Rutgers Field Hockey is moving on in the Big 10 Tournament after a thrilling 3-1 victory over Indiana on Thursday afternoon.

In so doing, the Scarlet Knights set a program record for wins in a single season with 16, earned their first ever Big 10 Tournament victory, and notched the 100th career victory for head coach Meridith Civico.

"This is really special," Civico told Scareletknights.com. "It is a testament to this group of players, all the players that came before them and what we have been able to build here at Rutgers. I'm so proud of this group."

After falling behind 1-0 on a first quarter goal by Indiana's Jes McGivern, the Scarlet Knights stormed back to score three consecutive goals to come away with the victory.

Milena Redlingshoefer tallied the first goal at the 16:02 mark in the first half to tie it.

Bridy Molyneaux gave Rutgers the lead on her fifth goal of the season in the third quarter, and Lucy Bannatyne netted her seventh goal of the year, and third in the last two games, at the 59:32 mark to make it 3-1 RU.

Rutgers will face Penn State in the semi-final round in Piscataway on Friday afternoon at 4:30. Should Rutgers win tomorrow, the championship game will be on Sunday at noon against the winner of Iowa-Michigan.
