Will Daniel Jones Be Ready for Rams? Week 6 Preview & Predictions

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones could be back under center come Sunday afternoon when the Giants play host to the 4-1 Los Angeles Rams at MetLife Stadium, but that all depends on how he passes concussion protocol.

Head Coach Joe Judge didn't rule Jones out for Sunday, telling reporters that his quarterback was "on track with everything."  Last week Jones took a vicious hit to the head while trying to scramble for the end zone in Dallas. He left the game wobbly; Mike Glennon played the rest of the ball game.

According to ESPN, a fully padded Jones has been running sprints and throwing passes this week in practice. That still doesn't mean he will start. Judge added that Glennon would be ready to play against the Rams regardless.

Fox Sports New Jersey Pick Six ...

LA Rams (4-1) @ NY Giants (1-4) - 1:00 p.m. FOX

The Giants come into this ballgame banged up. Not only is quarterback Daniel Jones a game time decision, Saquon Barkley (ankle), Kenny Golladay (knee) are likely to sit out this week's contest. The Giants were already stacked up with injuries going into last weekend's contest against the Cowboys.  Even if Jones is healthy and plays, it will be tough against a LA Rams team that is clicking on all cylinders with quarterback Matthew Stafford having a monster season, and defensive end Aaron Donald wreaking havoc against opposing offenses. PICK: Rams 31 - Giants 13.

LA Chargers (4-1) @ Baltimore Ravens (4-1) - 1:00 p.m.

The headline here is easy: Lamar Jackson vs. Justin Herbert. Two of the sports brightest, young quarterbacks go at it. The Chargers have been rolling. Not only has Herbert been special, but watch out for running back Austin Eckler who has 349 yards and four touchdowns already this year. Still, a game like this will come down to LA's ability to contain Jackson, which is never easy. Tough ask for a west coast team to come all the way east, play an early game against this quarterback -- unless, of course, Jackson turns it over like he did at times against the Colts on Monday night. PICK: Ravens 27, Chargers 23.

Kansas City Chiefs (2-3) @ Washington (2-3) - 1:00 p.m.

Will the real Kansas City Chiefs please stand up?  The Chiefs no longer look like the kings of the AFC anymore after sustaining losses to the Chargers and Bills in recent weeks. While Patrick Mahomes has struggled at times, KC's issues are on defense where they have not allowed less than 29 points in a game yet this year. Can they get it together against a pesky Washington Football Team? PICK: Chiefs 27 - Washington 22.

Arizona Cardinals (5-0) @ Cleveland Browns (3-2) - 4:05 p.m.

The Game of the Week that nobody saw coming. The Cardinals have been incredible this season. Cardinals Quarterback Kyler Murray leads the league in completions, and is in the conversation (even at this early stage) for MVP.  Still at some point the Cardinals express has to run out of gas. The Browns have teetered on the brink of big things all year, losing close games on the road to Kansas City and LA. This is great opportunity for Cleveland's Baker Mayfield to put on a show, and everyone can't wait to see how Murray eludes Browns pass rusher Myles Garret. PICK: Browns 33 - Cardinals 21.

Dallas Cowboys (4-1) @ New England Patriots (2-3) - 4:25 p.m. CBS

The Cowboys walk into New England as heavy favorites, and why not? Between Dak Prescott zipping the ball all over the ballpark, and linebacker Michah Parsons and cornerback Trevon Diggs playing out of their minds on defense, the Boys look like they are back. Then again, this is a great opportunity for an upset. The Patriots aren't that good. Mac Jones has looked just 'ok', they got issues all over the roster. But the game is in New England - where the Patriots haven't won all year -- and it's Bill Belichick. Is it enough for the upset? PICK: Cowboys 21 - Patriots 17.

Bills (4-1) @ Titans (3-2) - 8:15 p.m. ESPN, Monday Night Football.

Ok, the Bills are definitely for real. Buffalo dismantled the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday night as Josh Allen continues to look unstoppable under center. The Titans on the other hand have been a weird team all year. One week they look like contenders, the next they don't. The issue for Tennessee still is health. Both receivers Julio Jones and A.J. Brown are expected to be full go for Monday night, and if they are it will make Ryan Tannehill's life a little easier.  Could be tough for Buffalo on back-to-back road trips. The key will be to slow down Derrick Henry. If Buffalo wins, watch out, the AFC is going through snowy Buffalo this winter. PICK: UPSET: Titans 26 - Bills 24.
