  • Becky Lynch vs. WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus
  • Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodrigues for the Women’s World Championship

While WrestleMania is the WWE’s biggest show of the year, based on the spectacle of the event. For true wrestling fans, SummerSlam is their show, since it focuses on the in-ring action.

2023 marks the first time in 30 years since the last time SummerSlam was held in Michigan, as the show was at the Palace of Auburn Hills in 1993. That show was where the term getting “Lex Lugered” was birthed. When Lex Luger won his WWE Title Match against Yokozuna by countout but celebrated as if he actually won the championship. He was never the same in the WWE after that day.

Whether you’re going to the show or not, there are some items you must have for WWE SummerSlam this Saturday night.

  • Jey Uso “the Real Chief” t-shirt

If you would’ve told a wrestling fan that one of the Uso’s would main event WrestleMania and SummerSlam ever, let alone the same year, not one would believe it. If you want to support Uso in the main event for the WWE Universal Championship and the “Head of the table for the Bloodline,” buy grab this shirt.

  • Roman Reigns “the Only One” t-shirt

Jey’s cousin Roman on the other hand has been the main event at many SummerSlams including the last two years. If you support the tribal chief, you can do so with this shirt.

  • Stone Cold Detroit 3:16 t-shirt

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin is arguably the biggest star and biggest merch seller in the company’s history. Austin will continue to put distance between himself and everyone else with this new spin on his iconic Austin 3:16 t-shirt.

  • Homage SummerSlam 1992 Shirt

If you like living on the wild side, one of my favorite places to get cool t-shirts is Homage. They have cool shirts that feel vintage but are not. They’ve got the vintage WWE SummerSlam 1992 shirt. The sooner you order the shirt the more likely it will get to you before Saturday night.

  • SummerSlam 1992 Bret Hart – Davey Boy Smith shirt

The main event of SummerSlam 1992 is arguably the best match in the 35 year history of the event. Bret “the Hitman” Hart face “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith for the Intercontinental title. Homage celebrates that match with this shirt, which I own! A classic for sure.
