The New Jersey Devils captured their first victory of the 2022-23 season with a 4-2 win over the Anaheim Ducks at Prudential Center on Tuesday night. Nico Hirschier netted the game tying goal with a little over five minutes remaining in the second period. It was all Devils after that as Dougie Hamilton and Dawson Mercer scored third period goals to put the Devs in front for good.
