One of New Jersey’s greatest hockey players Jim Dowd joins the program today. Jim who enjoyed a long NHL career, and was an integral part of the 1995 New Jersey Devils Stanley Cup Championship team will be one of several special guests at the 30th Anniversary Celebration of the Classic Devils-Rangers clash in Game 7 of the 1994 Eastern Conference Finals. The event takes place May 24 in New York City, and will feature Stephan Matteau, Mike Richter, Adam Graves, Pierre Turgeon, Dowd, and play-by-play voice Howie Rose. The event runs from 5 to 10 p.m. on May 23.
The event will raise funs for the Stephan Matteau Foundation and the Dr. Reza Mehrazin at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Department of Urology with Bladder Cancer Research. More info can be found at matteaufoundation.org.
