Tommy DeVito has captured the attention of the region. The Cedar Grove product, who played high school ball at Don Bosco has become a sensation overnight with his inspired play in leading the New York Giants to a 3-1 record in the last four games.

On Monday night he took his legend to another level leading Big Blue to a 24-22 come-from-behind win over Green Bay. We all watched in awe as not only the Giants won, but DeVito’s entire family, including his agent Sean Stellato were in attendance to celebrate with fans in images captured on camera that will never be forgotten.

The question is will it continue? And for how long? The Giants are suddenly in the mix for a wild card — even at 5-8 — as about a half dozen teams find themselves at 6-7 entering Week 15. One of those teams ahead of the Giants is the New Orleans Saints who sit at 6-7. Buckle up folks, because DeVito mania might hit hyper drive.

• N.Y. GIANTS (5-8) @ NEW ORLEANS (6-7) (-6.0)

  Like I asked above, how much longer can the Tommy DeVito show continue? This will be a tough test heading down to New Orleans to face a Saints team that at times this year can’t get out of its own way. Derek Carr has been madly inconsistent. So has the entire Saints team. They sit at 6-7 on the cusp of either a division lead in the NFC South, or the final wild card slot. This game is HUGE for both teams. While Tommy Cutlets might get slowed down a bit by the Saints pass rush, it will be up the Wink Martindale’s defense to get this done and force a few Carr turnovers to give the Giants the edge.
  PICK: SAINTS 23 – GIANTS 21

• NY JETS (5-8) @ MIAMI (9-4) (-12.0)

  Zach Wilson is coming off the best half of his career throwing for a pair of touchdowns and 301 yards in the Jets 30-6 romp over Houston. However they will run into a buzzsaw this week in Miami. The Dolphins are none too happy with themselves after blowing a 13-point lead in the final four minutes to Tennessee. Expect a focused Miami Dolphins team on Sunday, and for Tua Tagovailoa to air things out.  Also expect Miami’s pass rush to cause havoc for Wilson and company.

  PICK: DOLPHINS 30 – JETS 9 

• DALLAS (10-3) @ BUFFALO (7-6) (-2.5)

  Is it 1993? The Cowboys are in first place. The Bills are trying to overtake Miami for first place. And we got a big game between Dallas and Buffalo this week? Ok, maybe this won’t be the level of the two Super Bowl games these two franchises played in back in the 90’s, but expect an intense contest nonetheless. The Bills are riding high after pulling off a 20-17 win at Kansas City. This is a defacto playoff game for the Bills who need to win virtually every game to have a shot at the playoffs. The Cowboys are in first place in the NFC East. Can’t blame them for feeling a little too high on their horse this week after beating up Philly. This is a tough spot for the Cowboys. They need to focus in.

  PICK: BILLS 27 – COWBOYS 20 

• BALTIMORE (10-3) @ JACKSONVILLE (8-5)

  Tough one to call. This is a huge game in the AFC that will have ripple effects in the hunt for the top seed in conference. The Ravens are 10-3 and currently hold that top seed, but for how long? The AFC has been unpredictable this year. One thing the Ravens have going for them is they are the heathier team, but this is tough road test against a desperate Jaguar team that wants to get off the mat after two straight losses. Trevor Lawrence showed last week he is healthy. Can he get Zay Jones and Travis Eteinne back? Huge spot on Sunday night.

  PICK: JAGUARS 24 – RAVENS 23 

• PHILAELPHIA (10-3) (-4.0) @ SEATTLE (6-7)

  Like the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Philadelphia Eagles have lost two straight and are looking to get back on track. Tough way to do it for Philly to fly 3,000 miles northwest to Seattle to try to get that done. The Eagles defense is the one to watch having surrendered 72 points in its last two games. Look for this unit to give Geno Smith and the Seahawks a hard time while Jalin Hurts and company do just enough offensively.

  PICK: EAGLES 26 – SEAHAWKS 17
